Before Sunrise

i cannot properly begin to explain how much i appreciate this? ok pero kasi as you guys know. i like to write. and dialogue is my forte. dialogue i think is a powerful tool in conveying stories, kasi people have this tendency to say one thing and mean another, and then the other person may or may not interpret it in an entirely different manner too... and this complex exchanges of messages and interpretation bears consequences yenno? and these consequences, we have to live with. something something i am talking out of my ass here but i believe conversation/dialogue is poetry in itself and that's why i have so much interest in it and now we have this. film. where the whole "plot" is literally just them talking; them saying one thing at one point, that they're going to either elaborate or debunk 40 [on-screen] minutes later... IT'S SOOOO INTERESTING? the fake phone conversations with "friends" was also a nice touch... the way we can have a "deep connection" with someone but still not fully trust them on certain aspects of your life i.e., you still need Someone Else to listen to you when it comes to some things... ayun. for me this is less of a romance story; it's more of a study of how deceiving/complex conversations can be, and i am obsessed with it. there's so much more that can be said about this, pero kasi i'm not even supposed to be watching a film rn, i should be doing my readings LMAO, so i think i should stop here. and. sighs. i can only wish i can write something like this too 'di ko alam kung papanoorin ko sequels kasi masaya na ako dito sa one film lang xD baka basahin ko na lang Wikipedia summaries... KIMMY!
