when the movie is so good that you immediately changes your four favourites. the dynamic between the girls, the witty banter, the sisterhood. i lack the words to describe how much i loved it. with lucille, ginger and katherine all leading a movie together, you just the director and the screenplay to not let you down. my expectations were exceeded. katherine playing the a ‘bad’ actress is one of those casting decisions where the filmmakers play with the celebrity persona’s of their actors and i love it when that happens. andrea leeds was such a standout, is there anything more tragic than loving a performance from an old hollywood actress so much that you want to get into her work but you find out that she retired because she got married? the potential!
