Sinners

will never get enough. third or fourth rewatch and I still cry at the end. you get fully invested in the story, the music & the characters. very moving and powerful. the horror creeps up slowly, which just makes it even better as it is setting everything up nicely. deserves every nomination. such great performances & hopefully it gets its flowers at the oscar’s. ** “last time I seen my brother. Last time I seen the sun. And just for a few hours… we was free.”
