“i am not broken, i am free” is the most beautiful and simple sentiment that still hits me just as hard rewatching years later. this movie just completely encapsulates that anxiety of hiding yourself, finding your people, heartbreak, and everything that comes with being young and gay in an environment that doesn’t let you thrive.
