“just because you chose this for her doesn’t make it less real.” a horrifyingly beautiful movie that shows how the idea of a “perfect love” does not exist, and the flaws and ebbs-and-flows is what makes relationships so strong. a perfect representation of friend groups, and how you shouldn’t try to get with people in said group lol, combined with great cinematography and horror. movie of the year so far! inde navarrette the woman you are!!! go ahead and get your oscar speech ready dude

FIRST TIME EVER WATCHING as someone who is an avid *solo* truther, for all the people who say this movie is better is a LIARRRRRR this movie is boring, dark and ugly (which does fit the theme so i mean ig), and is just so forgettable. you aren’t made to care for these characters, and knowing that they won’t succeed, you have no need to care for them when they ultimately don’t! i’m not saying characters who are doomed to fail can’t be enjoyed, but you must make me care to see the fall, or else the whole story is pointless. as someone who hasn’t seen andor, and will be tapping in after these movies, i have been told andor is a million times better and i have no choice but to believe lol, but andor’s accent is annoying in this but that also could be me just hating this movie as a whole vader you are goated tho

the vibes of a free xbox horror game that you and your buddies played cause of gold. adam scott we have to stop putting you on floors where you are trying to escape #WatchSeverance

jj abrams i can’t back this bro. after star wars finally gave us a new and refreshing story with* the last jedi,* the loser star wars virgins decided to complain and cry so much that disney reverts back to the same nostalgia-bait star wars where we have to be reminded of the original trilogy. with this being said, i think the first half isn’t that bad! yes it is dumb because it retcons the last movie, but i enjoy seeing the big 3 together because their chemistry is still great. however, finn sadly takes such a backseat in this story and it is a huge letdown as he had the most potential out of any character in franchise history, but he’s reduced to someone who’s character is solely found in love interests (the naomi cake character and rey.) i loved the parallel shot of rey burning the tie fighter and luke burning the jedi texts, along with luke raising the x wing. “somehow palpatine returned” will forever be hilarious and i do not understand how disney thought that would be presentable. rey being a palpatine is just so lazy and sadly takes me out of the movie once it is revealed. honestly this movie feels so much like a post-endgame mcu movie; it has some good jokes, cool small moments, but how much does that matter when we are constantly reminded of “how good it used to be” which hinders what is currently happening. in some ways modern mcu and star wars are stuck in the same boat
