Miso’s grand tour of her old friends’ lives is one of the most depressing things i’ve ever seen. a culmination of everything to fear about getting older and more different represented on screen. even though Miso’s the main character, I was way more interested in her “friends’” messed up lives and relationships. instead of being a slice of Miso’s life, it’s slices of multiple lives and that’s one of the things I like best about this movie Miso lives her life prioritizing happiness over comfort while everyone else has done the opposite. she said the path of least resistance WHERE
