Rear Window
here lies the letterboxd review of G. Sferrazza
i love it. the reflections on the camera and binoculars. each apartment’s unique lighting. the way Hitchcock characterizes Jeffries’ little corner of the world. I’d like to live on the set of this. a world for the night owls.
I can’t think of an adjective good enough to describe Grace Kelly in this movie. So I shan’t attempt to.
I almost threw up when Thorwald looked at Jeffries. I completely froze — like I was on the other end of that camera. With absolutely no hyperbole necessary, i am telling you all I could not breathe when Jeff was waiting for Thorwald in his apartment. I get why I had to analyze stills from Rear Window for film class now.
