Interstellar
This is perhaps Nolan’s least interesting sci-fi proposition and writing wise, there is stuff left to be desired. Beyond that, this movie is absolutely incredible in every other department. The camera work, the scenery, the MUSIC oh my god the music it’s talked about all the time and yet isn’t talked about enough, the sound design, it all creates a really amazing atmosphere that envelops you in the story.
While I’m not in love with the story on paper, it’s easy to understand and expertly poignant, leaving a real emotional sting in your heart. It’s a movie that it seems like everyone has seen, but if you haven’t, it’s a sweet glide through time and space and will make you hug your family a little tighter the next time you see them.
