poolside convo about your summer last night [favorites](https://boxd.it/MbKtI) [recommend me a movie](https://boxd.it/VpvZS)

ofc he’s mental he’s a united fan

the score, cinematography, and performances make you almost forget about the mediocre story. "Oh yeah, you left me and i feel bad, I'm gonna take 20 years to write a book that's only good if you know the context so you feel bad about it too" that being said, i do like the fast intercalation of all three plotlines, although the "real-life" references made on the book might be too on the nose still good tho! makes for an entertaining and gripping watch

i’d like to announce i am joining the war on digger (2026) on the side of digger (2026) impulsively buying one single ticket for a 16:00 thursday screening 5 mins before the movie started has been one of my best decisions so far a lot of yapping. fortunately i love that

ngl expected much much more. I've wanted to watch this for months but waited because i knew it would get screened during the Sitges festival in 4k for its 50th anniversary. Personally, it seemed boring and predictable, simple dialogue, repetitive sound effects and camerawork, and dull performances. I did like the prom sequence though, before THAT happens. at least i got to be in the Q&A with Amy Irving after the screening which was nice
