Millennium Mambo

i reallyyy adore a lowbudget movies which are obviously lowbudget but look great and creative because of it. this movie is one of the great of taiwan's new wave. i watched the documentary (kind of) / behind the scenes, the team apparently had a very limited amount of sets but the small taipei apartment adds to the feeling of claustrophobia and despair of both their abusive relationship which is absolutely genius to merge it into something worth of cinema
