well, it’s certainly a whole different thing from the book. having read the book and felt kinda bummed out by it, i’m not surprised that the series took more liberties with the story. yes, in some ways, it makes the story feel more complete as a whole, but they also... slightly kinda overdid it? if that makes sense? anyway, the book itself is okay, and this adaptation just feels more like a dramatization of the book—and it’s alright too. and let’s be real—im just here for gong yoo anyway.
