Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery9.0June 7
🏆98% I have watched this movie to fall asleep every single night for the last two weeks straight. This movie, Avatar, Arrested Development, and Peaky Blinders are the ONLY reason I still have a Netflix subscription.
Close Encounters of the Third Kind7.0June 6
👍70% 12 months, 12 directors: Steven Spielberg (3/35) Throughout my entire watch, I flipped from feeling a masterpiece and garbage. Cloe Encounters of the Third Kind is such a mixed bag. Some great acting, some shitty. Mostly obnoxious and boring first half, pretty awesome second half. The visuals and score are super iconic and for good reason, they're magnificent. Dreyfus is so good but man oh man is his character annoying, his wife too. Spielberg definitely made something interesting here. I will never be a big of a fan of some people, but I do still think this movie is good. 🔙Jaws♻️ 🔜Raiders of the Lost Ark♻️

💯100% 12 months, 12 directors: Steven Spielberg (2/35) Yeah never mind. This movie is perfect. The fact that I have seen this movie as many times as I have, and the head jumpscare still gets me is just a taste as to how wonderful this movie is. In the words of Magneto: "Perfection." 🔙The Sugarland Express 🔜Close Encounters of the Third Kind♻️
Raiders of the Lost Ark10.0June 6
💯100% 12 months, 12 directors: Steven Spielberg (4/35) There are few movies I enjoy more than this. Indiana Jones is one of my favorite characters ever, as well as Harrison Ford being one of my favorite actors, so when I say something is “my thing”, this is what that statement is referring to. Simply one of the most fun, iconic, and intelligent adventure films of all time. The score is beyond perfect, the acting is awesome and delivers on some great characters that people love, and the immersion is so flawless. Every set, prop, vehicle, costume, everything. They establish this movie so firmly in the era of time it takes place in and was released in, but it’s still so timeless. The visuals are even still incredible to this day. Never once did I think a scene looked outdated or hadn’t aged well. Raiders of the Lost Ark will always live up to what it is and has been for 45 years. 🔙Close Encounters of the Third Kind ♻️ 🔜1941
