Small Things Like These
judging by the increased frequency of sniffling in my row, we (meaning me and the cinema full of 60yo women) were all crying
a very singular, narrow and suffocating picture of injustice that happens on an infinitely wider scale—historically, geographically, and systematically—and yet indescribably impactful. from the very first scrubbing of his hands, i knew this one would resonate with me. i was so deeply moved guys i dont even know where to start 🤧*

☝️😗 i have my criticisms but i think this movie holds so much more in terms of valuable discussions that can be had around it. especially because we need more hate directed to institutionalised religion. i also have to admit that im biased because this is the mood and atmosphere (depressive and dark) that i enjoy the most in any piece of media. love 🥲🫶
