Decided to go with 2 political thrillers today. I will forever deem this movie as the magnum opus of Costa Gavras on my each rewatch of this I enjoy it more and more. Beautifully shot, acted & written but most of all it handles the politics of the time exceptionally well. The way it handles topics like corruption, the ability of a state to deceive people, the results and consequences of bravery all handled masterfully as if a political analyses of the US backed dictatorships of the cold war.
