Back to the Future
Marty saying ‘you will understand this later’ every time he accidentally says something about the future cracked me up so much.
Even if I wasn’t a physics nerd and was fascinated about the concept of time travel, I still would have absolutely loved this movie; the fact that I actually am a nerd makes it even more special. However, you don’t need to understand anything about physics or time travel to really enjoy this movie, it’s truly an amazing journey that Marty takes and a great plot. I can’t express enough how much I enjoyed this film, and I’m so glad I got to experience this classic. The story just gels so well together and makes you feel the right emotions for the right time; such as vibing in a school dance or feeling desperate for Marty to make it back home.
I really really hope this remains as a comfort movie for me, and grows on me as time passes, eventually one day (sooner rather than later) being one of my favourites. I hope this review ensures I don’t forget this day, and I hope I read this again in the future.
