Obsession
This movie made me realise some things.. The fastest way to ruin a relationship is to get what you want. A lot of people don't even want to be loved they just want to be chosen, reassured, prioritized and we start shaping people into something we want. If you keep changing someone you "love" you are loosing the person you fell in love with. The more you control someone the less of them remains... That being said, you can't control how someone feels about you, you can only change yourself. Žižek said — "If you need a reason to love someone, that's not love." , and he's right. Because love is not a possesion, love is not control, love is not certainty, it's allowing another person to remain completely themselves while chosing them anyways. You can't love someone whole trying to control them and maybe the point is not finding someone who becomes everything you want. Maybe the point is to find someone who's freedom doesn't scare you.
