Better title: "The pursuit of happines"

Like its ok on the fence between a 6/10 and a 7/10 but it just feels like narnia to me a film that i love so much i cant even explain it this film had so much potential with better directing and acting like there were some scenes where we needed coop leaving his family behind level acting and this film wouldve been better just throw in some tears its not to much too ask for there were some shots which i hoped the director could take to intesify this film even more. Overall its alright not great not good its alright the only reason i give it this score is becsuse i love the concept althiugh it couldve been executed much better if you showed some tears or have better shots 6/10.

One of the first movies ever on my watch list and it did not dissapoint absloute masterpiece. Leo is one of my favourite actors ever easily top 3 and in this film he just shows every single side of him there is hes serious funny emotinal and every other emotion you can think of in this film hes a marvel truly amazing. Tom hanks is the "villan" of the movie and he does a fantastic job at that he never gives up on the chase and he jist stands as a polar opposite to Leo throughoit this film in so many ways and the best one is that throughout this movie he didnt tell a single lie everytime the truth another examples are that leo is funny and charming tom is awkward and serious a perfect example of polar opposites and its done perfectly by spielberg and it honestly made the movie for me. So much can be said about spielberg hes one of the best directors ever and hes certiantly the one with the most output at this point in time i havent seen a single other film by him but im sure that by the time i finished his cinematography he will deffinetly be top 3 for me if hes other movies are as great as this one anyways in this film you can see his directing the shots are always perfect and every scene just feels like a classic. The only issue that i can think of that this movie has its that its lengthy it feels really long but again every scene feels like a classic so it doesnt really matter, a movie that i think is really similar to this one is barry lyndon both are great adventure stories but this one ends on a lighter tone and honestly i liked it more than barry. Highlights of this film are honestly every scene this film gets going really fast but if i have to point out some highlights here i go: the entire animated sequence at the start is genius spielberg is telling us the entire plot of the movie scene by scene before it even began GENIUS , both hotel room scenes are a highlight, the first one is when you see leo just freestyling everything and using every trick in his book to get away from tom amazing the other scene where we see leo and the actress is also so funny the actress bassiclly paid leo 400 bucks to sleep with him i couldnt stop laughing , every single christmas call is incredible each one so unique the first 1 where leo calls tom to make a mockery of him just to make fun of himself is amazing the second one where he bassicly gives himself up is again amazing and every other christmas scene is truly amazing , everything to do with leo and his dad is wow really strong stuff leo just wanting to be like his father and help him out trying to put his family back together is heart breaking and his dad gives a huge performance again throughout this whole film truly AMAZING , another highlight is just the way leo is just a kid he gets lucky a ton but he is really smart with it we see him bassically become james bond and rry to immitate him looking for a role midel just like a little kid when he pukes at the hospital just brilliance and the last thing is the way he get stressed out everytime we see it when he gets called for surgery and when he has to leave his engangment party truly an amazing one of a kind performance from leo peak cinema. Overall its an amazing film one of the best that i have ever seen and i will forever cherish it in my heart 9.5/10.
