A Simple Plan

wow man i need to check out the full raimi filmography this guy has the sauce. this movie feels different from the others in the “money ruins everything” genre. there are a lotta funny moments that immediately get followed up by some insane shit but it doesn’t feel jarring. the emotions and dilemmas the characters go through on this spiraling journey feel real and you’re stressed with them from start to end. and the heavy snowfall makes the darkest scenes feel even colder.  also i would die for jacob 🤞
