Oh man what an entertaining movie, the script is great, it has a very tight lace and its 2 hours 30 minutes. I enjoy gangster/mob movies in general but this one exceeded my expectations. Denzel Washington has a great performance just like in any other movie hes in. This doesnt feel like a Ridley Scott movie at all but he actually did great with this.

I wasnt expecting a japanese blockbuster with an actually deep story. The characters are so well written and the movie has so much heart. But I do think godzilla looks a bit goofy here, not the whole thing, mostly his face or just his eyes. Also this reminded me so much of jaws, I enjoyed that.

I'm actually amazed at this movie, how ambitious it is, how absolutely stunning it is maybe one of the best looking movies ever made, theres not a single scene that looks bad or even average at that matter. This is what i call ambitious filmmaking, incredibly unique and unlike any movie I have seen. The themes in this movie, theres so many split through 6 chapters, each with its own identity and message, its a love letter to cinema and cinema history, how each chapter represents an era in filmmaking, its honestly so beautiful. I was fully grasped by the end of the first chapter(the chapter about Vision), the second chapter(about sound) is great but probably my least favourite, the third chapter(about taste) is bittersweet, about guilt, the fourth chapter(about smell) is the heart of the movie, its incredibly sad by the end though, the fifth chapter(about touch) is probably the most technically impressive and its deep, its about acceptance, the final chapter(i think its about the mind from what i have heard, its kind of a continuation to the first chapter though) closes the story in a beautiful and touching way. Its a movie about what it means to dream, and its one of the most technically impressive movies to have ever come out. One last thing i want to say is: its a 2 hour and 40 minute movie and thats what it feels like, but its not boring per se but definitely slow, i loved it but its possible many people won't.
