honestly could be my favourite animated film. i rewatched this countless times as a kid because i loved how surreal and unique the film felt. coming back i was unsure but it's made me fall in love with it even more! such a special film.

what a way to start a film!!! opening sequence was just absolutely brilliant. the camerawork and cinematography in this film are just beyond man. action was also fantastic and very gritty! just feel like something was lacking with the story or maybe the pacing.   definitely gonna rewatch at some point.

i wish i could watch this for the first time againn mann!! alicia vikander is just so amazing in this film and her performance as ava was incredible. can't not talk about the score in this film, builds tensions perfectly and it just hits so damn hard when ava stabs nathan.

i was so excited to watch this and i was left kinda disappointed. don't get me wrong cate blanchett was terrific in this but i just don't think this film sat with me as much as i thought it would. still had some great moments and a couple hilarious ones too.
