Bugonia

Called that she was an alien from the beginning. The first hour of the movie was all build up and boring, but the second hour was astonishing as everything gets unfolded. Truly amazing job with the dramatic effects and the tension being visibly seen across the screen. The whole movie fooling the audience was my personal favorite part, with the directors full intention being that we are “too smart” to not fall for anything Teddy says, and that the CEO is the victim (and not an alien). In the end, it is proven that it is the total opposite and Teddy truly was the hero of the story (holy metaphor). Even though the pacing could've been better at the start, the originality and plot of the movie truly makes up for it. Recommended for anyone who enjoys psychological thriller gore with a bad habit of laughing at wrong moments.
