Everything about this was PERFECT! Movie of the year candidate for me . I recommend seeing this in theaters if you get a chance .

Wasn’t expecting much out of this but had a good time watching this .  If you have and hour and a half to kill and want to watch an adventure comedy this is the movie for you . Pretty ahead of its time .

This felt all over the place and just thrown together.

I saw this is theaters back in 2022, and wanted to give it a rewatch before Black Phone 2 comes out , but I don’t remember it being this bad .  The acting from everyone besides Mason Thames , Madeleine McGraw , and Ethan Hawke is absolutely horrible . The entire idea of talking to the victims through a disconnected phone is so silly to me. The cursing God and questioning his existence just rubbed me the wrong way and ruined anything this film had going for itself .  I have the lowest expectations possible for Black Phone 2 !
