Before Sunset

'You can never replace anyone, because everyone is made of such beautiful specific details.' Richard Linklater has done it again. This film is incredible. Like the first, it follows the same technique, with just the camera following the two through another elegant European city. The idea of being able to pick up a conversation with a person and it be like you never left, even 9 years later, is just such an excellent depiction of the potential in 'soulmates'. I can sense this will become one of my favourite trilogies when I finish it, as my experience so far has just felt so beautiful.
