Train Dreams

This film is a slow burn film done right. Visually its stunning, the story is emotional and engaging, and the performances bring these amazing characters to life. This film is my personal pick for best picture at the Oscars although I know it won't win. I also think Joel Edgerton deserved a best lead actor nomination, and I could have easily seen William Macy get a best supporting actor nomination. Overall this is a great film that I wish I would have gotten a chance to see in theaters. 5 out of 5 stars
