this movie felt like a gloomy day a numbness inside me, emotionally, bloomed as the credits roll the movie captured and captived emotions wellthat numbness the movie gave me held back the tears i wanted to let out the movie's tacklement of grief, mental health, and reminiscing on that memory, that memory from your childhoodthe movie has beautiful wrought with its cinematographyas the movie came to an end, to its emotional conclusion of the film, we're taught that opening that wound, or that scar that is still aching, might be the answer to an end.as a person who grew up without a father, this movie felt like the mixed feeling of a warm hug and a hug of farewelltwo things that are so different, but share something in common. this movie had its weak spots, especially the slow burn, but it's also what makes this film emotional. the building up of emotion, the memories between the child and father. you sympathize, as if you were the child.overall, i gave this movie a 4 when i first watched it, as time grew by, and rewatches, it grew as a 5 on me. it felt like a good movie to end the dayIT'S OKAY TO GRIEVE FOR THE CHILDHOOD YOU COULD'VE HAD.
