movies like this make me realize why i love movies so much, ive never felt such euphoria and devastation watching a film, some of the best performances ive ever seen, mads mikkelsen is just THAT guy, the chemistry between the 4 main characters is something i cant describe, i did not expect to love it this much but this is genuinely one of the best movies ive ever watched, it looks wonderful, the soundtrack is perfect, two things im huge on, im not even a big drinker, nor am i from denmark and this impacted me so much, it tackles alcoholism in such a realistic way
even if its predictable i was riveted throughout the whole film, that ending is one of the best things ive ever seen, with my reviews sometimes they're good and im actually saying stuff of substance, but most times im just fucking yapping, but with a film like this you just have to watch and experience how thrilling and upsetting it is, thomas vinterberg is one of those directors that i would never even know existed if it weren't for letterboxd, THIS is why i use this app, i already want to rewatch it, i love the celebration, i fucking LOVE this movie, doesnt quite get the 10/10 but its edging it
