I imagine the experience would’ve been better without the drinking group of women next to me laughing and giving commentary throughout. everyone talks about one scene in particular that feels like magic, and, yeah, you know it when you see it. I forgot how good of an actor michael b. jordan is sometimes because he’s such a corny man irl. also, I took my mom to see it and she pulled out her phone on the walk to the car to let everyone on facebook know. I’m a letterboxd user with restraint so I waited until I got home.
