La Haine

“The World is Ours” Not much to say, La Haine, or ‘Hate’ is the perfect title for this film. Exploring these young men who are immersed in a politically charged atmosphere in France. A slice of life flick that carries more thematic weight than most narratively driven films can ever conjure up. Easily the most beautiful looking black/white film I’ve ever seen. It really boosts the film’s themes of morality, and finding the grey area in life, not falling so radically far either way to the point of corruption. Highly recommend. also i watched this movie at like 8 in the morning before work. Bong Joon Ho got nothin on me  9.3
