The Shining

After reading the book. It’s hard to not think about how this movie could have been even better if it stuck with more of the original material. That being said, I still think this is a masterpiece within its own medium, and I think stanley kubrick (despite being a shitty and abusive person to his talent) did make one of the most iconic and influential horror films ever. Yeah the book is better, but this film is still incredible.
