Pusher 3
Gru is no longer a loanshark, but a chef.

I have to admit that even starting this film was a struggle for me. But i said, fuck it, let's just get this over with.
*Coooool intro.
*
Huh, so we're following Milo this time. Can't say i really like him, but he genuinely seems to want to change his ways like not using drugs anymore. Milo's cooking skills haven't improved any since the first film, considering he gave food poisoning to his own crew members.
Muhammed and a few other characters from the previous films make a return. We also get to see the gym bro Mike from the first movie again, this time as Milena's boyfriend.
The majority of the film failed to captivate me. The first 30 minutes had me worrying about how Milo was going to feed a birthday party of 50 people.
We get some tension when Kurt gives heroin to Milo and he has to fight the urge to relapse, which he fails to do shortly after. The music does most of the heavy lifting during that sequence.
It's kind of tragic that Milo relapses while trying to get more food for the party, only for Milena to tell him he's late and that none of the food will be used. She even tells him to throw it in the trash.
There's also a human-trafficking-esque scene in the middle of the film that adds some tension. People are so rotten. I'm glad Milo snapped and hammered those guys.
After that, we get to watch Milo and Radovan, or as i like to call him, "Gru," dispose of the bodies in great detail. Oh boy. That one made me feel a little sick ngl.
It's a shame we never found out what happened to Frank. They were implying that he would be killed at the end of the first film, but we never got a definitive answer.
Radovan even says "It's been awhile" when starting the disposing, implying even further that Frank was delt with.
I wasn't like itching to turn the movie off, so it wasn't that bad. But throughout, i kept asking myself, "Why am i watching this?"
This trilogy simply wasn't for me. I can recognize that it's objectively pretty good and well done, but it just doesn't align with my personal tastes.
In conclusion: MID.
