"There is no possible scenario where you benefit from this incident." Don being autistic is probably my favorite detail of the entire movie. Having him represent the follower while also making the point that some if not most who end up getting roped into these strange conspiracies are good people who are just misdirected by those represented by Teddy's character Teddy representing the idiots who claim to know what is going on and when he is presented with fact that disproved them they begin to deny and lash out and when they begin to doubt themselves they have already created a following that boost their own ideals creating this misinformation feedback loop that just wastes everyone's time. Having all of this be rooted from the grief of losing a family member is the cherry on top as well. You begin to sympathize for teddy due to that and realize that not only is don misdirected but it is also teddy who is misdirected by the media he consumes online This entire film is one of those Dean Withers vs 15 Republicans videos all wrapped up in a hilarious conspiracy theory plot
