Watched the film. Had a good time. Felt mildly uncomfortable every time there was food on screen. 8/10 would do again.

I read somewhere that if I liked "Muriel's wedding", I should watch "Animal Kingdom". "Animal Kingdom" is exactly like "Muriel's Wedding", if "Muriel's Wedding" was less about Muriel's wedding and more about murder, everything was filmed through a desaturated lens, and no one was happy at the end.

I fear my life recently resembles "Brokeback mountain" more than I'd like, because I, too, am gay, and have been eating nothing but canned beans for weeks.
