very real and human in all aspects. the ambiguous ending was VERY necessary to me because its not supposed to be a “satisfying” story and it’s open ended because many children have to pick between school and work. im happy they didn’t make a film about this wide group of children just to sell yourself out to make it pleasing for the overseas audience
