Sentimental Value
It didn’t fully hit me until the end. I love how their relationship wasn’t about fixing each other, but simply accepting things as they were, their flaws and imperfections and all.
It kind of reminded me of my father, how things change over time, how you start seeing differences more clearly and how acceptance sometimes matters more than agreement. I think the hardest part is realizing how much of him lives in me. It’s not a bad thing, just overwhelming. Like recognizing a part of yourself you’re still trying to understand.
This movie’s going to stay with me for a very long time.
