Definitely a lot funnier than I expected

I had very high expectations coming in and IT DELIVERED. It was simultaneously funny, endearing, and VERY visually captivating. I think rocky and grace’s friendship was so wholesome and literally brought me to tears idc Also I NEED more nerdy geeky male leads bc this was single-handedly Ryan gosling’s best role and the only one where he has ever been attractive sorry watching this in imax 70mm was a peak experience and I couldn’t have asked for more

I watched the movie last night but I cried myself to sleep at the ending before getting to write this review. Like this film took me through every emotion imaginable from frustration, anger, happiness (albeit short lived), and above all, a deep sense of bittersweetness. Watching them find each other in a world that ostracized them genuinely melted my heart. They needed each other in ways the other couldn’t understand, and if there were ever a “love” story that truly embodied selflessness, care, and intimacy, it would be this one
