Anna Boden & Ryan Fleck casually making the coolest anti-nazi PSA of all time.

I have to give the movie another star. I genuinely love this movie to pieces and it fucking sucks that it's gotten as much undeserved hate as it has. Unapologetically human, emotional, and lowkey, Anna Boden & Ryan Fleck's special touch makes this one of the more unique entries in the MCU. While Nia DaCosta delivered on the most wacky and action packed side of Carol Danvers, Boden & Fleck's direction, the performances of Brie Larson, Ben Mendelsohn, and Samuel L. Jackson, Pinar Toprak's musical score, and the engaging screenplay all deliver a film that I wish more modern installments took a page out of. If Boden and Fleck really do never return to the MCU, I hope they return to blockbusters one day. Perhaps that galaxy far, far away? A girl can dream.

I miss when simple sports movies like this were made like every year.

Anna Boden & Ryan Fleck's masterpiece as far as I'm concerned. Ryan Reynolds and Ben Mendelsohn are fucking magic together and it's a shame that Reynolds stopped being in movies like this. Boden & Fleck should've gotten a Best Original Screenplay nomination for this fr.
