Vanilla Sky

I loved this, it kept me hooked and intrigued the whole time. This movie is pure dual magic; The hopeless romance — whispers, touches, longing. The surrealist psychological puzzle — glitches, shifts, projections.  For the first hour and a half i formed a clear interpretation; after he passed out on the floor it was clear the dream began. I thought from there his reality and imagination got mixed and confused and he couldn’t tell apart when he was dreaming and when he was awake anymore as side effects of his facial surgeries. He gradually became mentally deranged experiencing derealization, psychosis, hallucinations, delusions etc. and then in the last 30 minutes it completely fucked my mind.
