the way this whole thing was completely AVOIDABLE if bear acted like an actual man and was honest with her AND accepted her rejection in a normal, healthy way… regarding the technical aspects I think this was shot beautifully, and the lighting was AMAZING. barker sits in the eeriness of the shot and builds anticipation through those still moments the entire movie being an allegory for the loss of autonomy and sexual assault was expertly done. it truly portrayed the horror of nikki’s situation and didn’t try to make you feel sympathetic for bear  nikki we hardly knew you 💔
