Nosferatu

Another Eggers film means another perfect period horror film. It’s a gothic horror nightmare heaving with beautiful visual detail, writhing with violence (and lots of sweat) that makes it such a perfect display of the darkness that Eggers wants us to see, not as the “absence of light,” but rather as a feral force within ourselves. Lily Rose Depp disproves the myth that nepo babies can’t act and overall just a delicately crafted film. Best vampire film ever.
