first time i watched this, i didn't actually watch it, i won't lie... i fell asleep ten minutes into the movie and woke up to mason thames in a basement answering a ghost phone, fell asleep again, and woke up to him beating the shit out of ethan hawke and called it a day. my little sister begged me to give it another chance and i have to admit, i owed the movie one. it was a lot better than i expected it to be, i thought it was creative and although it wasn't hitting all the beats i expected it to, i think this was definitely worth a watch. now we're watching both back to back, and i'm expecting a lot from the sequel- i'm excited.
