Rewatched it for one specific scene and i don’t regret it i fucking love this movie.

At first i hated the movie, the concept of it was way out of my liking, but then something happened, something about Lee and Grey’s relationship didn’t feel “weird”, didn’t feel forced or either creepy, it was like watching someone completed the other! in their own way lol. Lee’s need for acceptance that she couldn’t find except in this Dominant strict boss who’s whole idea of Love is control and degrading, but for someone’s who’s emotionally unstable and problematic like Lee? it was the perfect pairing , someone who accepts you as you are and doesn’t and isn’t willing to change you but instead Guide you and show you that things happen, Lee found her changing point , from this Troubled woman who’s only form of pleasure and Nirvana is her feeling something even if it meant harm. To this changed woman who’s living the peak of her life as we see it, From the pleasure of Self harm to the Consensual, challenging type of love with a person who’s changed too from a troubled Fucked up Boss to a man with admiration. I hate this movie but i love it so it’s either 1 star or 5  but Maggie Gyllenhaal is super Hot lmao
