GOAT Nolan - re-confirmed

I might be shunned from society for not giving this a 5. It was an amazing movie. 0% of me is disappointed. Damon killed it. It looked sick. It had interesting themes. I cared about most of the characters. It was fast paced - it was almost 3 hours but felt like 2. I really loved it. I just didn’t love it as much as that Inception/TDK/Interstellar top tier of Nolan. It’s not quite in the same tier as any of my 5s. I wanted it to be a 5 so bad - my most recent 5 is Parasite almost 7 years ago. My odyssey continues.

Very good but I think they had to have exaggerated rami malek’s character’s role in the trial a ton. Like I get that you have to dramatize things for a movie but this felt like a lot. Russell Crowe good acting. Lucy A: I was crying. I was on the edge of my seat. Obviously it’s dramatic. It’s a drama. This movie was astounding and an incredible conversation about how a narcissist can become power obsessed to the point of systematically murdering an entire population. It was world history. It was mental health. It was genuinely important. 4.5 stars motherfucker. (There’s more to say. I am being censored by the media. starting my own letterboxed)
