*“makes me sick, these kids painting rocket ships all over his sacred resting place“* ⋅˚₊ • ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅ father jud is so linguine coded you cant tell me otherwise!! my most favorite thing abt this movie is how the characters are so well written, im talking about how they dont they focus on the main and supporting characters, instead they also focus on side characters who have zero to minimal impact on the storyline. also the comedy in this movie is lowkey peak, everyone is so unironically funny😭 the cinematography in this movie is also so beautiful especially the backgrounds, it really supports on catching the vibe and essence its trying to capture. overall i like this movie, though there are some things that needed to be improved.

"he is the sweetest guy. have you ever looked into his eyes? it was like the first time i heard the beatles” ⋅˚₊ • ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅ did everyone share a singular braincell together? i can see why film bros like this movie sm 😭😭 jonah hill is so funny man

*“how come nobody ever wants to talk to the drug dealer?“* ⋅˚₊ • ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅ rewatched this for 3 simple reasons: 1. i was sad and needed my comfort movie ASAP 2. coltland twins propaganda on twitter has bewitched me. 3. jason momoa [full review here](https://boxd.it/al1aL3)

*“let me be a concubine. isnt that the fate of a woman?”* ⋅˚₊ • ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅ despite watching this on youtube with delayed subtitles and the video quality from the prehistoric era, this is a really good watch. i can tell this is to spread awareness of the dark side of being a concubine in china; this is a very symbolic movie indeed. i love everything about this movie, the pacing, the characters, the writing even the cinematography. we can tell that the main character is distinct from others even without needing context. the way from the start to the end, we can see her slowly getting crazier and more knocked over and how at the end it gradually becomes more disturbing. this is really fun and i will def recommend it to others! very beautiful and creepy in a good way.
