they truly mean it when they say "you have to feel the film before understanding it". this film in my eyes are the most impressive and beautifully made film. its a perfect overview of someone's wandering mind on deathbed. Tarkovsky was able to make the dreams both feels real and eerie at the same time. he's able to translate someone's mind perfectly well. and despite the short runtime, i just wish the film could keep rolling and rolling and rolling. its truly one of the most bizarre film ever made and def the most interesting one.
