Heard it was good going into it but it still did surprise me with how much I enjoyed it. Amazing performances from the leads but especially from Inde Navarrette. A fun mixture of just true unsettling horror with perfectly timed humor. I don’t know if it was intentional or not but there were scenes with Bear that had a melancholy vibe with ambient music that reminded me of Silent Hill. Especially with a scene where Bear was reading a letter in a car with nothing but fog around him. Overall though did not expect a horror movie to easily be my second favorite movie of the year so far but I’m pleasantly surprised. Maybe it’s the high from just watching the movie and I could see myself giving it a 4 but for now it’s 4.5
