Lily and George omg 😭😭

Such a bittersweet goodbye to the show and characters that got me through the end of middle school and all of high school

I have so many thoughts on this movie but my main ones revolve around John Bender. There is a way to do the bad boy/criminal trope while also not soley viewing women as sex objects. That's not even a part of his character arc, either. He still sees women as sex objects (especially Claire) at the end of the movie. While it could be argued that all of them stay relatively the same (they mostly still reside within their archetypes) at the end, the others all are more understanding and respectful people by the end. Also, if the point was to keep the characters in their archetypes, why was Allison given a makeover? She looked phenomenal beforehand, and it would've been much cuter for Andy to like her when she looked like herself. Also, why didn't we give Claire a more "goth" makeover? That would've made the importance of that scene much greater. Other than that, I did enjoy the movie. I love some good character types in a situation in which they are forced to learn about each other type shit. Andy's monologue scene at the end especially stood out to me. They really hit the mark with that.

The straights low-key ate with this one I fear
