La La Land

a masterpiece as many deem it to be. ryan gosling and emma stone are an acting pair made in heaven. the two have unbeatable chemistry which helps add to the plot of this movie. gorgeous visuals, a perfect soundtrack, excellent casting and good pacing with the plot - who could ask for more? the first time i watched this movie was just a life changing experience - literally. i think i had even cried at the end because of just how upsetting it was that these two characters who should've ended up together in our minds didn't. but its the truth, and thats how life happens sometimes. we don't always get what we want, or who we want. since then, la la land has become a comfort movie. not the type to just play in the background, but one i watch on a night when the mood is right, and there is a right mood to watch this movie. beautiful film, will always be one of my favorites even if that is deemed basic by some. ee
