Ts so peak. 2 hours of awesome fights and defying gravity. Plus the emotional damage added on top. This should be the blueprint for an action movie. No deadly wounds that the protagonist shrugs off, not just constant action but also a story that’s actually interesting and a good ending that isn’t super predictable.

This movie is something else. The script is amazing and even though the plot isn’t as grand or action packed as let’s say the dark knight rises, me movie still had me more hooked. The plot is fast though with twist and turns throughout which makes it thrilling to see how the characters will counter each other’s moves. The cinematography is stunning. The use of wide and ultra wide lenses gives the movie a scale and largeness that his hard to achieve. The set design and costume design is absolutely amazing. I don’t know how accurate the movie is compared to real history, but that wasn’t why I wanted to watch it and therefore I won’t judge it based on that. The performances were extraordinary and the three main actresses did a fantastic job. This movie is truly amazing.

This movie is your standard non-stop action big budget movie, but it’s actually good? I have to admit the plot wasn’t that great, and the amount of times he got what should have been fatal or VERY damaging wounds and just brushed it off was highly unrealistic. But the movie also had its moments. The cast is stacked with Ryan Gosling, great as always, Ana de Arma, Chris Evans and many more. Also the movie has weirdly good visuals in some scenes. The lighting was incredible in some instances and the camerawork was very good. I also love me a good neon city with a lot of colors, like in the beginning of the movie. The plane scene was also really impressive. Overall this movie is not you usual 21st century action film, it actually has some substance. I went into this movie thinking it would be a fun watch and a palate cleanser and therefore it actually impressed me a little. I can’t lie, I was very enjoyed by the movie.

I’ve been completely obsessed with this movie since my latest rewatch and maybe it’s becoming a problem. Is two times in two weeks too much? The score is going tripple platinum on my Spotify right now.
