I didn’t expect much given the reviews for this film, but after finally giving it a watch, I. LOVED. IT. again, Iguchi didn’t miss! it’s Iguchi’s take on a murder game film and it was so damn good and entertaining throughout, despite its somewhat long runtime for an Iguchi film. genuinely I was never bored, it has the signature gore of Iguchi, insane plotline, fun characters and of course Asami playing a crazy character! i seriously really enjoyed this movie, as expected yes it was silly and weird, but that is the charm of Noboru Iguchi!  Overall, a must watch for fans of his stuff. Great cast, great kills and an awesome charm throughout. Really enjoyed it! Also, I’ve been watching so many great movies recently lmfao, a lot of high ratings, but they do all deserve it! It is also funny the English title on letterboxd is called “Raining Blood” when the movie actually translates to “Live”, which is a book in the movie aha

yeah i absolutely loved this, it’s exactly the kind of horror film i adore. a very unique found-footage J-horror film, genuinely impeccable atmosphere, really well created and acted characters, a truly dark and disturbing storyline set in the backdrop of a beautiful, yet truly tragic forest of Kukai. goes in a really strange direction around the hour mark, but i actually really liked it! really good use of cinematography and aesthetics too given it was shot on an IPhone 6! highly recommended to any fans of J-horror, so glad i ordered it straight away when i saw it on the Vinegar Syndrome store!

Unfortunately the greatest shark movie of all time! just when you think it can’t get any weirder, does. everytime. not a single minute is wasted here, just pure fun and surreal insanity that keeps upping itself. absolutely awesome! great characters too, everyone was fun to watch and you can tell everyone had a blast making this. loved the effects also! definitely check it out!

so peak. I’ll never get tired of this movie and the absolutely amazing cast! so many great musicians here. check my other reviews for a more “in depth” review, but I’ll leave this with a just WATCH IT! my favourite musical and one of my fav movies ever. so damn cool!
