Disclaimer: I'm a huge Nintendo fan, so this film was made for me. Much better film than the critics are saying. Great visuals, cast, music, action, and set pieces. They even ditched the pop/rock songs from the last movie, as they should have! (Ok, but no Peaches follow up??) Nintendo's involvement of the film makes it almost as much of a game as their other products. Critics may scoff at the over reliance on easter eggs and fan service, but dissecting the film for all of its references makes for a unique experience that makes the film very rewatchable! A similar gripe I have with this film and the last one is that they rush the story a bit. They try hard to cram everything they want in a film less than 1 hr 40 mins. On one hand, I really appreciate they aren't making another 2+ hour epic like what's common nowadays, but this film *does* contain interesting character relationships that could be explored and expanded on if they were given the time to breathe. Also, I know the R.O.B. joke was just the Zootopia joke, but anyone who's seen a real R.O.B. in action know just how slow they are irl.

Wow.

50 Shades of WAIT, THIS VERSION HAS NO GHOST!?!?

Simultaneously better and worst and than first one. More in depth, I think everything about it is better except the script (sorry Scott). I liked the music, the animatronics, the scares, and the cast. Mike Schmidt is a weird, weird character. The franchise is starting to give me Puppet Master vibes, and I'm here for it!
